The main TAPI news group on news.microsoft.com is microsoft.public.win32.programmer.tapi  Hundreds of developers contribute to this dynamic newsgroup.

We also suggest you look at the excellent FAQ by Bruce Pennypacker, a frequent contributor on the TAPI newsgroups.

The TAPI Browser is the default troubleshooting application.  Microsoft’s TAPI Browser is a programmer’s tool for testing Telephony Service Providers (TSP) and experimenting with TAPI. 

TAPI Browser can be found in the Microsoft Platform Software Development Kit (SDK), which is part of the Microsoft Developer Network (MSDN).
