Configuring Analog Dialogic Cards for Hold, Transfer, Conference, etc.

Before a Dialogic card can perform advanced features such as Forward, Park, Pickup, Transfer and Conference the PBX strings must be defined.

There are three ways to access the PBX Strings for a Dialogic card; Windows Control Panel, ExceleTel etLine TeleScope, or TeleTools etLine.Device.Configure Method.  All of these options will cause the "Dialogic TSP Configuration" dialog box to be displayed.

Windows Control Panel

  1. From the Control Panel select the "Telephony" or "Phone and Modem" applet.
  2. Select the Dialogic Telephony Service Provider (TSP).
  3. Click the "Configure..." button.

Once the Dialogic TSP Configuration dialog box is displayed click on the "Advanced" button to display the "Configuration Service" dialog.

This is where you will enter your PBX Strings.  This information should be available from your PBX provider.

In most cases these are the DTMF (digits) codes that you would your on your handset to manually perform these operations.

Whenever you make changes to any Dialogic configuration settings you must reboot before they changes will take effect!
