TeleScope Licensing

You may use the TeleScope utility and TeleScope features of the TeleTools components on your TeleTools development station, at no additional cost, to help you write and debug your application.

The TeleScope license is not required for your deployed application to run! Redistributing or deploying the TeleScope utility program (telescope.exe) or any other program that utilizes TeleScope features requires a separate TeleScope license for each computer on which it is installed.

You may purchase individual or groups of license for TeleScope and its features for each computer that you redistribute or deploy your application.

So what does this mean? If you redistribute your application to Bob and he has a problem with his telephony hardware. You can use the TeleScope features to see what events are firing and to inspect property values. You could easily have a "debug" option in your program that sets the etLine.TeleScope.Log.Active property to True then have Bob perform the operation in question. Your program could then copy the TeleScope.Log.Lines to an email message and send it back to you for your inspection. If Bob has a TeleScope license installed then this will work. If he does not then setting the property etLine.TeleScope.Log.Active = True will cause the error LICENSE_EXCEEDED_TS.
